With your support, young mother Ms. Nhien will be able to take care of her family by starting her own farm

Ms. Ha Thi Nhien got married when she was 16 and now has 2 children in kindergarten. She and her husband are taking care of their children and an elderly mother. It’s a burden for the young couple to sustain their family’s living as their income is mostly from harvesting bamboo as well as unstable jobs. ​

Ms. Nhien says, “I became a mom when I was too young, without much knowledge of husbandry and cultivation. The financial burden is rising, and so are the needs for nutrition and education for my children. I need to earn more to raise my children.”​

She plans to buy a cow and some pigs with a loan, as well as participate in training courses on animal husbandry and cultivation to improve her agricultural skills. Ms. Nhien believe this farm would be a key for her family to improve their living condition and for her to take better care of her children.​
