TOGETHER, WE IMPROVE FAMILIES’ INCOME TO ELIMINATE POVERTY

“700 million people – one in 10 people in the world – live in extreme poverty on less than US$2.15 a day.”

The poor are typically excluded from economic opportunities, and in particular, women are the most affected. They lack the means to pull themselves out of the poverty cycle – even for the most enterprising, banks refuse to grant loans due to their lack of collateral or credit history, so they are unable to start and grow a small business.

With microfinance, you can help these poor communities gain access to financial services such as loans. This will empower them with opportunities to improve their own livelihood, and especially for the women to build their businesses to support their children and send them to school, and maintain their health and nutrition. The Children in Crisis fund goes towards:
1) Livelihood and Education Support through Microfinance in Taikkyi, Myanmar
2) Lending for COVID-Recovery in Vietnam
3) Typhoon Rai Recovery Lending in the Phillippines

You can also fund a specific entrepreneur to improve their small business, and to help them generate income to give their children opportunities for a better life, such as improved living conditions and education. Click here to view their profiles and learn more about them.
