Education for Children in Vietnam

Every morning, 22 children attending school at Lùng Thàng 1 make their way up and down a steep, muddy slope. With no proper fence, the area is unsafe and leaves students at risk of falling. The school also lacks a hygienic toilet and access to clean water for handwashing, while its current facilities are inadequate to meet the educational needs of the community.

This crowdfunding initiative is started by child sponsors of the Muong Cha Area Development Programme after witnessing these needs firsthand during a visit to the school in January 2026. Through this effort, the child sponsors hope to provide a safer and more conducive learning environment by improving the school infrastructure. The improvements include a playground, concrete pathway to the school, sanitation and clean water systems as well as a school fence. These improvements will not only safeguard the children’s well-being but also give them the opportunity to learn and play in a more  conducive environment.
